The Pool & Water Polo

Our pool is the centrepiece of the main villa’s inner courtyard — perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or simply lounging poolside beneath swaying palms. Bring company: there is always room for a game of water polo.

The table tennis table on the restaurant floor

Table Tennis

The table tennis table stands on the restaurant floor — the villa’s whole third storey — and is available to all guests throughout the day and evening. Bats and balls are always at hand.

The lounge area on the villa's restaurant floor

Lounge area

Our cozy lounge area is designed for both relaxation and work. Complimentary coffee, tea, drinking water, and fresh seasonal fruit are available throughout the day. In the comfortable seating area, you can work, listen to your favorite music, or enjoy fun karaoke sessions. A selection of board games is also available for guests, offering a great way to spend quality time together.

Activities

A short walk, a drive along the coast, or a full-day trip with local guides.

A surfer carrying a longboard through the shallows at Weligama Bay

Surfing

Weligama Bay, a short drive away, offers long forgiving waves for beginners, while the reef breaks at Mirissa and Hiriketiya deliver consistent swells for the experienced. We partner with local surf schools for boards and instruction.

Whale Watching

From November to April the waters off Mirissa are among the best on Earth for sighting blue whales and sperm whales, often joined by pods of dolphins. We arrange dawn departures with responsible, ethical operators.

Snorkelling & Diving

The reefs of Unawatuna, a short trip from the villa, are home to reef fish, sea turtles and coral gardens in warm, clear water. PADI-certified dive centres nearby offer courses and guided dives to wrecks and deeper sites.

Temple & Heritage Tours

The Mulkirigala Rock Temple keeps two-thousand-year-old cave shrines and murals atop a granite outcrop, while village temples closer to the villa offer a quieter glimpse of daily Buddhist life. We arrange guided tours with local guides.

Tea Plantation Visit

A day trip into the hill country winds through misty roads to Ceylon tea estates more than a century old. Walk the rows with the pluckers, tour the factory and finish with a guided tasting against highland scenery.
